Overview
As a tax partner at Anchin and a member of the Firm’s Private Client Group, Matthew brings his clients more than 20 years of experience which includes national firm experience.
In addition to high net worth individuals and multi-generational families, he serves privately-held and public companies in a variety of industries including wholesale and retail distribution, financial services, publishing, and manufacturing.
Matthew advises clients on a wide range of tax issues including compliance, planning, controversy work, tax provisions, mergers and acquisitions, and due diligence. He has significant experience advising, reviewing, and preparing tax provisions under FAS 109 for financial statements as well as advising, implementing, and disclosing companies’ uncertain tax positions as required under FIN 48.
Prior to joining Anchin, Matthew was a partner with the New York office of a national firm. Matthew is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA).
