Mike Mittiga, CPA, is an accounting and audit Director at Anchin with 14 years of experience. Mike is a member of the Firm’s Consumer Products Groups (Food & Beverage, Manufacturing & Distribution and Fashion & Apparel) where his clients range from start-up CPG businesses and aggressively growing entrepreneurial companies, to well-established privately held and family-owned companies. Mike provides accounting, business, tax and advisory services including GAAP accounting, revenue recognition, merger and acquisition consulting, debt and equity agreements, and stock-based compensation plans.

Mike provides value added services to his clients as they progress through the business lifecycle and has been closely involved with many clients along their journey to achieving tremendous growth. He is experienced in working with CPG companies at the beginning of their journey, helping new businesses do a deep dive into their financials to make sure they are GAAP compliant and helping them to optimize financial reporting.

Mike is also involved in several initiatives related to the career development of Anchin’s professional staff. He interviews technical prospects and participates in the firm’s mentorship program and in-house professional development seminars.

Mike is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
