Learn how Anchin is working towards cultivating an inclusive workplace where diverse voices are active in all aspects of our firm.
Anchin is committed to creating an inclusive environment in which all individuals feel respected and are treated fairly, and where different viewpoints, opinions, thoughts and ideas are encouraged and embraced. We recognize that equity within the workplace will ultimately improve our performance, drive growth, and enhance employee engagement, and we believe that focusing on a commitment to our people requires that we all work collaboratively.
Our goal is to make our workplace a safe place where we inspire open-mindedness, encourage open dialogue, and ensure that the culture is one that not only welcomes differences, but also celebrates them. We aim to embrace and support each individual within the firm to ultimately do the same for our client relationships and the communities we serve.
We are proud that Anchin’s Managing Partner, Russell B. Shinsky, signed the CEO Action Pledge for Diversity & Inclusion, acknowledging the importance and urgency around addressing inequities in the US. This unique coalition of nearly 2,000 CEOs across America is the largest CEO-driven business commitment to advance diversity and inclusion in the workplace. We are committed to taking action to promote diversity in a workplace that embraces differences, welcomes safe discussion about inclusion and diversity and empowers all employees.
To ensure that our firm is actively taking steps to achieve our goals, we are also excited that Anchin has formed a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee, bringing together individuals at all levels within the firm and from all backgrounds to help build and sustain the firm’s efforts in making the workplace one in which everyone not only has the ability to participate, grow and succeed, but that this is felt and upheld by all. We envision equity within the workplace first through the acknowledgment of barriers and challenges faced by underrepresented groups, and next through the empowerment of these groups.
