Rebecca Long, CPA, is an Accounting and Audit Director for Anchin’s Real Estate Group. She provides assurance, advisory and tax services to privately held companies. Rebecca has served clients with varying specialties, including owners and operators of commercial, industrial, and residential real estate entities, real estate funds, and employee benefit plans. Rebecca is also a part of the firm’s Emerging Manager Platform (EMP), which works with start-up hedge, private equity, real estate, and venture capital funds. As a member of the EMP group, she works with fund managers to assist with the launch of their first fund and provide value-added services beyond the traditional tax and audit compliance.

Internally, she is part of the firm’s mentoring and development program and was selected to participate in Anchin’s internal rainmaker program, a leadership and thought leadership program for accounting professionals. She is also the Co-Chair of Anchin Women’s Initiative Network (AWIN), through which she coordinates and participates in firm events, networking, mentoring, and professional development training with other women in the industry. Rebecca is also a member of Anchin’s internal Accounting and Audit (A&A) group where she works alongside a team to develop more efficient processes for the firm while providing the Anchin staff with the most up to date guidance on various topics to better assist their clients. She is an active member of Girl Gang and CREW NY, female empowering Real Estate organizations that connect professionals in the real estate space.

Most recently, Rebecca was honored as one of Globe St.’s Women of Influence in the mentorship category and was hand-selected for inclusion in the Ones to Watch Spotlight by the New York Real Estate Journal.

She is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
