Meet Sunny Shah

Sunny Shah, CPA is a Tax Senior Manager in Anchin’s Financial Services Group. He has more than eleven years of public accounting experience, specializing in the alternative investment industry. He focuses on the taxation of securities transactions, debt analysis, and tax structuring, and works extensively with complex clients including hedge funds, private equity firms, fund of funds, and private credit managers. Sunny partners closely with clients to deliver comprehensive tax compliance and consulting services across a wide range of entity types. His experience includes advising on tax planning and compliance matters, annual tax reporting, and navigating the interplay of U.S. federal, state, and international tax regulations.

In addition to client responsibilities, Sunny plays an integral role in the recruiting and mentoring process. He is also an instructor for in-house professional development seminars.

Sunny is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

Sunny holds an MBA in Accounting from Rutgers Business School and is a licensed CPA.
