Meet Madonna Burke

Madonna Burke, CPA, is an Audit Senior Manager in Anchin’s Real Estate group. She has more than 15 years of expertise in financial statement audits and internal control evaluations for real estate and credit funds, owners/developers and publicly traded equity and mortgage REITs, covering commercial and residential real estate. She is skilled in delivering audit services in alignment with U.S. GAAP, and IFRS.

Her expertise lies in working on lease accounting, acquisitions/dispositions of real estate, business combinations, consolidations, valuation, stock-based compensation, residential agency and non-agency mortgage-backed securities, repurchase agreements, impairment, going concern, and various types of derivative instruments.

During her tenure at the Big 4, Madonna facilitated in-house training sessions on accounting, auditing, and industry topics for both entry-level and experienced staff. She also served as a liaison for various firm initiatives focused on employee retention.

She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York and New Jersey State Societies of Certified Public Accountants.
