Meet Gustavo Gonzalez

Gustavo Gonzalez, CPA, MST, is a Tax Director in Anchin’s Real Estate Group, where he advises real estate funds, developers, owners, and family-owned real estate enterprises on sophisticated tax structuring, federal and state tax compliance, and planning strategies.

With more than 18 years of public accounting experience, Gustavo partners closely with clients to help navigate complex transactions, enhance tax efficiency, and support long-term investment growth.  Gustavo brings deep expertise in partnership taxation and complex real estate fund structures, including multi-tier partnerships, offshore investment vehicles, and blocker corporations.

Before joining Anchin, Gustavo built his career at leading global and national accounting firms, where he served in senior leadership roles within the real estate tax practices and worked closely with investment managers on complex domestic and international portfolios. He brings that large-firm technical depth together with a highly personalized, client-focused service approach.

Gustavo actively participates in thought leadership initiatives, developing timely and practical insights on real estate and other tax matters. He has authored industry-focused articles published for public audiences and contributes to Anchin’s thought leadership efforts, helping clients stay informed on evolving tax legislation, regulatory developments, and tax planning opportunities.

Gustavo is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
