Meet Alicja Mierzwa

Alicja Mierzwa is a Managing Director – Assurance. She is a member of the Firm’s Financial Services Practice and Private Equity Group. Alicja has over 10 years of experience and has been with the firm since joining as a staff accountant following her graduation from Baruch College in 2008.

She is responsible for audit engagements for a variety of investment company structures, including hedge funds, fund of funds, domestic and offshore funds, master-feeder structures, private equity, and venture capital companies. Alicja works closely with her clients on accounting and audit matters to provide a range of business and consulting services.

In addition to client responsibilities, Alicja is involved with in-house interviewing for entry level staff and is an instructor for in-house professional development seminars. She is also a part of the firm’s mentorship program and the Women’s Initiative Network. Alicja is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).

In addition to English, Alicja is fluent in Polish.
