Michael Cirenza, CPA, CGMA, is an audit partner at Anchin bringing more than 30 years of public and private sector experience, including national and international accounting firm experience. Mike specializes in providing audit and advisory services for privately held corporations in a wide variety of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, food and beverage, retail, publishing, and technology.

His expertise lies in providing clients with a wide range of specialized consulting services, including process improvement, mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, financing, cash flow management, cost containment, logistics, retention and recruitment of key personnel, and employee benefit programs.

Mike is Co-Practice Leader of the Firm’s Transaction Advisory & Public Company Services Group which provides sophisticated advisory and regulatory compliance services for companies considering a major transaction or contemplating going public. Mike is also a member of the Food & Beverage Industry Group. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and served for many years as a partner at Grant Thornton, LLP. He also served as Chief Operating Officer/Chief Financial Officer of two large manufacturing/distribution companies and initiated and executed the successful sale of one of these companies to a major global corporation.

Mike is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA). He also holds the APICS Certification in Integrated Resource Management and is an active member in the Cornell University Alumni group.
