Peter L. Lohrey PhD, CVA, CDBV Director - Litigation, Forensic and Valuation Services Group
Peter L. Lohrey is a Director in the Litigation, Forensic and Valuation Services (LFVS) group at Anchin. He has more than 35 years of experience in the forensic accounting and valuation profession, specializing in fair value reporting matters, commercial damage calculations, and business valuations for tax and litigation purposes.
As a member of the firm’s LFVS group, Peter specializes in a wide array of consulting services, including business valuations in connection with transactions, financial reporting, estate and gift taxes, bankruptcy and commercial damage claims. He also has experience providing litigation services which include post-acquisition disputes, personal injury support and expert witness testimony. In addition, he helps multinational entities on transfer pricing (TP) issues, ranging from TP controversy to documentation requirements, in order to ensure compliance with tax regulations. Peter also assists clients with securities matters such as stock trading patterns, stock price manipulation, and irregular trading activity.
In addition to his client responsibilities, Peter was formerly a forensic accounting professor at Montclair State University, and is currently an adjunct professor at Farleigh Dickenson University’s Teaneck, NJ campus. He is a proven thought leader in his field through his articles and content in various well-known publications and presentations.
