Paul Engelbert is a Senior Manager on Anchin’s Digital Risk Solutions (ADRS) team, which delivers and develops technology-driven risk and compliance advisory, and analytics-based services; and also a Senior Manager for Redpoint Cybersecurity, a subsidiary of Anchin that delivers and develops cyber security services and consulting.
With over 25 years of experience in technology, information and cyber security across a variety of industries, Paul is an innovative problem-solver with the proven ability to address complex challenges, drive results, develop and manage large teams and consistently deliver business growth. He has a proven track record of success in understanding a client’s goals and objectives, interacting with all levels of management and diverse matrixed user groups, and acting as a liaison/advocate for the business.
Paul is a client-focused and results-driven professional with the ability to lead a diverse range of corporate initiatives including strategic planning, business analysis, software development and implementing solutions to support business objectives, thereby reducing costs, improving efficiency and reducing risks for his clients. He is skilled in conducting information/business risk assessments, implementing business programs, assessing data privacy and security policy governance, providing awareness training and providing remediation recommendations.
Prior to joining Anchin, Paul was a Senior Manager with Avon’s Cybersecurity team, which was responsible for global policy, GRC and Security & Awareness. Paul also consulted at a large management and technology consulting firm, where he specialized in helping government clients ensure that information, assets, technologies and data were adequately secured. He also provided guidance on the adherence to, and implementation of, security policies and controls. Previously, he was an Associate Partner at IBM within both their Security Services and Cybersecurity & Privacy Practices. In these roles he led complex consulting engagements and worked closely with solution design teams.
