Nancy D. Lieberman
Nancy D. Lieberman is the General Counsel at Anchin. She has counseled C-suite officers and company boards in matters ranging from strategic planning, risk management and governance issues to regulatory and other compliance. She is an experienced transactional lawyer and has completed over 100 transactions valued at over $1B across multiple states and countries in various industries, including professional services, manufacturing, distribution, franchising, and software and other licensing.
Immediately prior to joining Anchin, Nancy served as Deputy General Counsel at a national accounting firm. She assisted with strategic acquisitions while having day-to-day responsibilities involving ordinary course issues and agreements, such as engagement letters, master service agreements and other client-facing agreements, and litigation and HR-related matters. She also provided services to the firm’s subsidiaries, such as an integrated solutions vendor and the firm’s full-service financial services arm. Previously, Nancy was a corporate/securities partner at Farrell Fritz, P.C. and at Kramer, Coleman, Wactlar & Lieberman, PC. She specialized in general corporate matters, acquisitions, financing matters and securities transactions and regulations for public and private companies, including corporate governance matters.
Nancy has been awarded the AV Preeminent Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Rating, denoting the highest level of professional excellence, and has been listed in the Martindale-Hubbell Bar Register of Preeminent Women Lawyers.
Nancy was a member of the Long Island Regional Board of the American Heart Association until 2018 In 2012 and 2013, she served as Chairperson of, and until 2018 served on the Committee for, the American Heart Association's Long Island Go Red for Women Luncheon, the largest charity luncheon on Long Island with approximately 1000 attendees, which raises funds to educate people regarding women's risk of heart disease.
