Mergers and Acquisitions Services
With Anchin’s Broker/Dealer- Anchin Capital Advisors, LLC

Making the decision to buy or sell a business is one of the most important decisions a business owner will ever make. Because of the far-reaching ramifications of that decision and the complexity of the merger and acquisition (M&A) process, it is important that the process be directed by experienced professionals dedicated to the M&A process.

The merger and acquisition (M&A) professionals at Anchin and its Broker/Dealer entity (Anchin Capital Advisors, LLC) provide a comprehensive menu of services to the individual or business looking to buy, sell or merge. Partners dedicated to the M&A process include Sol Lipshitz, director of Anchin’s M&A Group; Upen Saraiya; Marc Federbush; and Gene Greenfest. Over the years, they have guided many clients in a wide range of industries through the complex merger and acquisition process. While each transaction is unique, the group’s capabilities include:

  • Developing and implementing the M&A strategy. This first-step includes an examination of your short- and long-term business and personal goals, as well as your overall business strategy.
  • Conducting a thorough and accurate valuation of your business, which could uncover hidden value in the company.
  • For the seller, finding a motivated buyer through Anchin’s network of contacts and an analysis of the market in which you operate.
  • Managing negotiations.
  • Structuring and arranging financing to support the acquisition.
  • Providing required due diligence. Due diligence is a complex process, and at Anchin, includes more than the traditional financial statement analysis. Due diligence could encompass an operational due diligence, the early detection of a “deal buster,” cash flow analysis, and more.
  • Developing the most advantageous tax strategy for the buyer or seller.
  • Managing the deal process which can be lengthy, volatile and frustrating. It is our job to keep the process on track.
  • Assisting with the integration of the businesses.
  • Providing the technology infrastructure to meet the needs of the new company.

At Anchin, we know the “deal is not done” when final papers are signed. What remains to be done is the blending of operational systems, personalities, management styles and cultures of two different organizations. Our professionals are there for their clients to assure a successful transition for the new business, its owner, and the employees. These are just a few of the many reasons that clients choose Anchin to handle their merger and acquisition process.
