State of Construction Industry
set for Sept. 9, 2008

Mark your calendars now for Anchin’s annual State of the Construction Industry event, set for Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2008, at the Harvard Club. The event is sponsored in cooperation with the New York Building Congress.

More than 175 industry leaders attended last year’s event, and a capacity crowd is expected this year.  Seating is limited, so it is important to RSVP early upon receipt of your invitation (scheduled to be mailed in early August).

This year’s speakers include: Jane Chmielinski, President and CEO, DMJM Harris; Robert Mullen, CEO, Structure Tone, Inc.; and Robert Selsam, Senior Vice President of Boston Properties. The panel will once again be moderated by Richard Anderson, President, New York Building Congress.

Their comments should be particularly insightful in light of the current economic downturn and its impact on the construction industry.

Registration and breakfast will begin at 8 a.m. The Harvard Club is located at 35 West 44th Street, New York, NY. Discounted parking is available at the Hippodrome Garage directly across the street.

"Anchin proves itself to our construction clients every day, with the industry expertise we bring them," said Managing Partner Frank Schettino. "This event, as well as the publication of our proprietary newsletter, Construction Digest, further illustrates Anchin’s commitment to the construction industry."
