Matthew is a tax partner at Anchin with 20 years of experience serving privately-held and public companies in a variety of industries, including wholesale and retail distribution, financial services, publishing, and manufacturing. 

He has advised clients on a wide range of tax issues, including compliance, planning, controversy work, tax provisions, mergers and acquisitions, and due diligence.  In addition, Matthew has significant experience advising, reviewing, and preparing tax provisions under FAS 109 for financial statements as well as advising, implementing, and disclosing companies’ uncertain tax positions as required under FIN 48.

Prior to joining Anchin, Matthew was a partner with the New York office of a national firm. Matthew is a Certified Public Accountant in NY and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA).
