NEW YORK, NY – Anchin, Block & Anchin LLP is pleased to announce that E. George Teixeira, CPA, has joined the firm as a tax partner in its Financial Services Group as of Dec. 1, 2009. With the addition of Teixeira, Anchin has a roster of 54 partners who provide creative, pro-active advisory services to clients representing all of the major industries represented in the Tri-state area.
Teixeira brings clients almost 20 years of experience servicing privately-held and public companies in the financial services industry, including investment partnerships, broker dealers and investment advisors. He has been involved with some of the largest investment partnerships in the country, including funds of funds, and he provides assistance to those expanding their funds offshore.
Prior to joining Anchin, Teixeira was a partner in a national firm where he was the financial services tax practice leader in the New York office. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA), Wall Street Tax Association, and the Managed Funds Association.
